We’re Nick and Pranav. We help home care agencies spend less time on admin and more time caring for people.
Cofounder
Nick holds a BS and MS in Computer Science (AI) from Stanford.
He previously worked as a product manager at Spotify and a software engineer at Microsoft, Amazon, and Linktree.
He has hands-on experience in scheduling, hiring, and customer service at a dermatology office and a home care agency. He also worked as a caregiver for teenagers on the autism spectrum.
Cofounder
Pranav holds a Computer Science MS from UIUC and a BS from UCSB.
He was an AI product manager at GoDaddy, a software engineer at Decision Minds, and an ML research fellow at UCSB.
A former caregiver, he worked with Congressman Ro Khanna on first responder training legislation. He is a founding OurSevaUS volunteer serving unhoused Bay Area communities.
Our grandparents helped raise us. They picked us up from school, cooked for us, coached us in sports, and shaped who we are. Finding good care for the people who cared for us is personal.
When Nick’s grandmother started working with a home care agency, her caregiver didn’t show up on the first day. It brought home how much families depend on the work happening behind the scenes.
We know this is a terrible experience for our grandparents, but it's also terrible for agencies. Agency operators want to deliver great care, but hiring caregivers, chasing documents, returning family inquiries, and filling last-minute gaps can take over the day. We’re building MochaCare to give those teams time back.
