Our Why
Growing up, our grandparents were our primary caregivers. They walked us to school, cooked for us, and shaped who we are. Watching them age and navigating what quality care looks like for the people who took care of us is deeply personal.
Nick's grandmother is going through this right now. She recently started working with a home care agency, and on the very first day, her caregiver didn't show up. This made it abundantly clear to us that better agency operations means better care for our loved ones and communities.
We've also gotten to know the people running these agencies. People with insanely big hearts who poured their savings into a business because they want to help their communities. But between no-shows, last-minute schedule changes, and mountains of paperwork, burnout is real. The people trying hardest to deliver quality care are the ones the system is wearing down.
